False. But, in the mid-80s I briefly owned a 1973 Buick Estate station wagon with a monstrous 455 engine. Man, talk about a "land yacht"! This car was absolutely MASSIVE! Plus, it had a powered, "clamshell" retractable tailgate, which was just awesome.
Unfortunately, an engine fire brought about the untimely demise of the beast. Fortunately, however, nobody was hurt, and I had only paid $25 for the car in the first place.
