False. I got off with a verbal warning for failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.

It was about 2:30 in the morning, and there wasn't another car in sight, so I rolled into a right turn at an intersection, doing about 10 mph. The cop says, "I know there's no other cars around, but you still have to stop at the stop sign. Keep that in mind, OK?" Then he sent me on my way.
