Truly "sweet" flavors (compared to cinnamon)...

I've been vaping for a few months now. I've tried a decent amount of ejuice from a variety of different vendors (Halo, Hurricane, MBV, V4L and others), and I find that many of the flavors that are described as "sweet", aren't all that sweet. On inhale, there isn't much flavor at all, but on exhale I can definitely taste the flavor and some sweetness.

I was satisfied with these options until I tried a CINNAMON VARIETY (Cinnablast from V4L) which was super flavorful and sweet (on inhale and exhale). I've tried other cinnamon ejuice since then and it all seems to have similar, super flavorful qualities...

So I'm just wondering if cinnamon provides more flavor sensation in general, and that's why all the other flavors seem almost tasteless now. More recently, I purchased some ejuice from MBV (Apple Rings, Banana Gone Nuts, Watermelon, etc.) and added 3 flavor shots to each, but they're still almost tasteless on inhale, with a decent, flavorful exhale.

Are there any other flavors / ingredients / vendors that will provide that same sweet sensation on my tongue when I inhale? Or is cinnamon just that good???

Using an EGO setup with clearomizers...

Some of the flavors I've tried have been 60/40 PG/VG, others 80/20... and my most recent MBV order was 50/50. That's why I added 3 flavor shots, since I thought the higher VG would warrant extra flavor.

Either way, I still can't seem to replicate that strong sweetness I get when inhaling the cinnamon flavors. Not sure if it's my taste buds, a poor choice in ejuice, or just the qualities of cinnamon...

The vapor reacts to the moisture in your mouth to transfer taste to your buds. This only happens when you exhale, inhaling vapor does nothing for your taste buds.

Cinnamon flavors definitely react with my taste buds during inhale. So if that's not normal, maybe it's the cinnamon itself causing the sensation and flavor...

did you let your juices Steep at all? leave your caps off your bottles and put them in an area without sun just in your room. on your dresser or inside a drawer dark would be good. then let them sit there for a few days to a week. Steeping brings out the flavor in your juices. i honestly dont know why haha but it really helps.

I'm familiar with steeping... although sometimes I just can't help myself and I gotta have a little taste ;)

Not sure that's the problem, since many of these non-cinnamon flavors are fully steeped. I'm guessing that my taste buds just respond differently to cinnamon. Gonna follow Schwiggiddy feedback and see if a little menthol gives me an extra kick. Don't like a ton of menthol, but maybe something like Thug Juice or Hawk Sauce...

There are other non-menthol mints out there too. I've had a pretty nice Spearmint/Wintergreen combo that really kicks. And yes i think it's the cinnamon itself that you love, there really is nothing else quite like it.

When I first started vaping, I thought there was something wrong with me, because I didn't "taste" much on the inhale. Yeah, that's pretty much how it is for nearly all flavors. I've "tasted" hundreds of flavors, and it's mostly an exhale experience, like you describe. Now and then you'll get one that "tastes" some on the inhale, but the exhale is simply more intense, especially if you exhale through your nose. It's smell, at least as much as taste. You'll eventually find some juices that smell like one flavor on the inhale, and taste like a different flavor on the exhale. Fun!

I loved hot cinnamon for the same reason you do. All hot cinnamon flavors will give you that tongue-taste on the inhale. Cold/"frozen"/"icy" flavors don't give the cold sensation until you exhale - cold like a breath mint. You might try a fire-and-ice flavor of red hots with a "cold hit" if that sounds like an intriguing combination. You can mix other flavors with cinnamon and keep the cinnamon tongue-taste while adding a new exhale flavor. Try mixing red hots with vanilla, or cherry, or apple, strong mint, etc. I vaped a lot of peppermint (candy cane flavor; I don't like menthol) with cinnamon.

Clove is the one other flavor with a similarly strong tongue-taste; you might know from clove cigarettes. If you like those, try a clove flavor. Even if clove or hot cinnamon are minor ingredients, you'll still taste them on the inhale. Besides plain clove, you could try juices with that flavor, like Chai Tea. Or get plain clove and/or plain red hots, and add a few drops to other flavors as you fill your tank or cartomizer. That way you can experiment with combinations without changing a whole bottle of liquid.

Highly-sweetened juices sometimes give some tongue-taste, too, but less intense. It's actually the vaporized sweetener you're tasting, but it can trick your senses into tasting the flavor on your tongue, when you're really just smelling it with your nose. If you ever vape with a stuffy nose, you'll know what I mean, because you can hardly "taste" vapes at all then.

It IS different than smoking, but you'll get used to the delayed "taste" and it won't seem as odd. I never exhaled cigs through my nose, but I often do when vaping. Vape all the cinnamon you want but try to find another flavor or two you like...because eventually you'll get a little tired of the cinn.

I kind of also noticed this, when I first starting vaping. I pick up a bottle of caramel from a friend of mine. He says he "mixes" them himself. I first started vaping this juice, I thought, wow it tastes pretty good because I haven't tasted anything else. Then 3 months later, currently. I have tried flavors from multiple companies and man did that juice taste bad. Im not sure if the juice has gone bad, or what. It hurts how sweet that juice is, and it makes me cough so much.
