I'm looking to buy a Sony VCT5, but the store I like to buy them from is out of stock (RTDVapor), what are some other trusted places buy a VCT5?

Lighthound doesn't seem to supply VCT5, or any sony product.
All the others are out of stock. :c

There is a shop that I frequent that has genuine Sony batteries (that I have bought). I don't know if they have the VCT5 or not, but they have a very good website if you want to check it out. It's kommon centz, however I can't post the link for you. I don't have the permission to do it here. They may have it.

This is a rumor I have heard (so may not be accurate), but apparently Sony never intended for the VTC's to be sold to individuals, just companies to use in products, and they are discontinuing production on them. I bought the last one we had for sale at the B&M I work at (upping my count to 3), and the warehouse we order from doesn't have any in stock. Hopefully it turns out to be untrue, but then again, maybe some other company will pick up Sony's slack and make even better and safer batteries. I think the impending FDA crackdown may have something to do with this.

Your statement is true.

This is false.

Sony originally was making (or had contracted) to have their VTC5's made in Japan (before Fukujimi). They have since moved their production to the Philippines.

I recently saw this video (the Sony discussion starts at 1:05). The Plumes of Hazard - Episode 31
