Hi folks

Ok, so I ordered a Efest IMR18650, 2000mah battery and what turned up in the vape mail was a TrustFire 18650, 3000mah (whatever!) protected battery. I'm actually surprised I got the delivery, first off, as I'd read the company had gone bust (E-cigwarehouse).

mod (Nemesis clone) works perfectly, but I got a battery I didn't order.

In a very untypical British fashion, I'm not going to complain. I have about 8 IMR's in rotation, I just bought another on a whim.

My biggest concern is "is this battery safe to use". I can't find much in the way of information on the thing, so have no idea what the max amp discharge rating is (I'm guessing it's nowhere near 10amps)

I build coils in the 1.7 - 2.00 range resistance wise, never sub ohm (never seen the attraction). I'm guessing I'll not be getting close to the amp limits of the battery, but just want to be sure. I like my face.

If it's safe to use, I may keep it around for backup purposes only - it won't be an all day vape. If it's not safe, well to the bin it goes!

Anyone use them and can reassure me they are safe?

Cheers in advance!

Shaun :)

I really like that torch!!! I have one but takes car batteries! Since the dog passed on I've had no need for one (just watch, I'll have a power cut tonight!)

Thanks for the input folks, as always, much appreciated. *retires the new very shiny, very red, battery to the recycling pile to be disposed on the next tip run*

...

The "Zoomable" type are Very Cool. Because they put out a Ginormous Circle of Light.

The Inexpensive ones like the One I list are a Little Bit of a Pain because they Cycle to the Next Mode every time the Torch is Turned Off and then On. But for the Price, they are hard to Beat.

Well we don't have a torch in the car, what happens if she breaks down in the car at night? She needs it. I'll sort it out, in her interests of course! :D

Now you are Thinking alone the Right Lines.

You're Not Buying it for You. Oh No... That would be Selfish. You are Buying it for Her.

And the Reason you Bought 2 of them is in case She Accidently Looses it.
