Trustfire TR18650 Protected or not??? How can you tell??

I just bought some Trustfire TR18650 2500mAh protected batteries, or so the dealer claims they are Protected. When I got them, no where on the battery does is state "protected" It does state "The voltage of full charge and cut-off discharge is 4.2V and 2.75V". Does this mean it's protected or not.

Sorry I am no help to you but would also like this question answered as I have a set...similar info. Are they considered protected or not..that is the question . If they aren't then the "full charge/discharge" info would be misleading.
