i'm now tried this... the only issue to me was the cart filler material seems to want to stick down in the atty for some reason.

ok try this -----

cut your spring just 1/4 inch down from top level of the cart top level------

then take the filler that you will use for the end plug for the cart ----

screw the end of the spring into the filler plug one or two turns------
now try it, ---------

it should stay attached to the spring,
and all juice should be able to be vaped out from that top 1/4 inch of the filler plug----------

I can get 70 - 80 good 3 second puffs from a full cart like this
on my 801 ecig ------- if you use hgher volts, you will get less
cos higher volts eats your juice up -------

make sure that the plug filler is tight fitting to the top of the cart......
not too loose or it will fall out, or leak juice-------
