I am a cinnimon user and I have tried so many different set ups in my quest for big flavorful clouds and its just not happening. I typically use a Chi-You with Ithica topper, or Nemesis with kayfun 3.1 topper. I do own a patriot, nimbus, and trident dripper as well as a plethora of iClears and kangars and misc tanks. Nothing seems to give me the big, borderline painful, lung hit I am searching for. I would love to hear some advice on how I might accomplish this with what I currently possess (I suppose including the panzer/atomic combo im awaiting in the mail)

I've noticed there's a sweet spot balancing cloud and flavor. IMO that balance is ohms, coil build, coil placement, and air flow. Especially the air flow comes to mind. To small and very little flavor, "too much" air flow and the clouds are great but the flavor gets weaker. I put too much in " because I feel that's very subjective to each person. To summarize my rambling if you like your coil I'd play with airflow. Also for if you're looking for that almost painful hit maybe try a slightly higher nic?

Right now I have the patriot running .73 ohms and drilled out to 1/8 on the holes. the kayfun sits normally around .6 ithica is at 1.1 atm all with cotton wicks. I prefer a decent amount of airflow, as far as nic goes im at 24, or 18 depending on which juice im using at any given time. I like the big clouds, maybe I just have something not quite right in my set ups.

try going lower ohms on your patriot. Is it a single coil build or dual coil build? 1/8 is a pretty big airflow and if you go lower it will increase the heat of the coil but it won't taste scorching hot because of how much airflow you have going on. Take a hard lung inhale for as long as you can and then see if that is any better?

Its a dual coil build, its doing alright for now, im enjoying it, but would love to get a little more out of it too ya know. Im bouncing back and forth with it on the chi-you and the nemesis, also playing around with 35amp efest batt seeing if i get a little more power. office is getting a tad hazy so I would say its working alright.

At those low ohms you should only be using that Efest 35A or Sony VTC4/5. Nothing else is safe to use with sub ohming.

By the way that 35amp eFest is only a 2500mah LG 20amp continuous battery with a pretty purple sleeve. Anything above .5 is ok to use with a 20amp battery such as a Samsung 25R or similar. You only really NEED a 30 amp continuous when you go below .5 ohms.

4.2v @ 0.5ohms = 8.4amps at 20 you have a decent buffer.

My vote would be to use the Trident as it has AFC. I run all my RDAs dual coil around .5ohm and get the big hits you're talking about. Make sure your coils are adjust close to the wall and at the same height as the air hole, I suggest Ko Gen Do type cotton for wicking but cotton ball works well too. Don't over juice or you'll flood and cut down on flavor and vapor production, less is better.

If you run that rig and it still doesn't do it then I don't know what to tell you especially if you drip cinnimon juice. What is your VG/PG ratio? Nic level? Nic and PG level add to throat hit, VG to vapor production.
