trying to get the biggest cloud I can

Greetings all! Im new to the world of vaping and id like to get started. Im an avid hookah smoker who would like to cut back from it and the perfect substitute would be an ecig/e hookah.

What kit/ set would give me the biggest possible cloud? Price isnt a factor. Also are there any places that sell e cig sets with everything? i want the large cloud, head buzzing experience I would get from a hookah lol.

Sorry for sounding like a noob but thanka for the help!

Vape happy sells cloud chasing "kits".

Seriously, do your homework first. I mean it.

You need to learn about batteries. Resistance of coils. And you'll need some gear to get you going.

The gear isn't particularly expensive. But not being particularly careful or not understanding and having an accident with a battery could be VERY expensive.

Dig in. If you're a bit mechanically/ electronically inclined you'll be at it quick enough once you've figured out what you need, and what you need to know.

Right now, in my opinion, the best "cloud thrower" as far as out-of-the-box factory built devices go is the Aspire Nautilus on a good variable voltage or wattage device (Mod).

I'm running mine with a 1.8 ohm coil right now at 4.1 volts (around 9.3 watts) and it's performing very nicely.

The Nautilus is not really in the cloud chasing category, but does produce ample tasty vape in the 9-11 watt territory. Maybe Cirrus or Altocumulus clouds maybe, but not the Cumulonimbus style clouds that the Vaper "Cloud Chasers" chase. or something like that. lol

But must say, the Nautilus is a great entry to intermediate level atomizer for a trouble free great vaping for sure.

Absolutely agreed. It can't touch a well-built RDA, but of the several tanks I own, it's definitely a pack leader for clouds with factory-built coils. And like I posted in one of the Nautilus threads, it's the only "factory-spec" tank I have that can keep up with back-to-back lung hits.

Totally can't argue with that, was just clarifying the type of clouds. lmao. And agree absolutely that it is the best tank option for non builders. Close to an rba, but can't compare to a great rba with an excellent build, vaped at 30-50 watts or so. But does illustrate what could be possible, and is a great functional worry free tank especially for new vapers and those having problems and issues of atty's not delivering the goods. The Nautilus delivers. I bought one merely to try out so that I could validate my recommendation of this tank. Haven't vape a full tank on my own Naut, but it is growing on me, lol, just to many other better mods and rbas setup within reach.

I suppose you can go cloud chasing if you want, but personally I'll stick to chasing a great vape. Cloud chasing is a lousy vape IMO.

You need to understand that an e-cig is not a hookah. They do not function the same way, and the results are completly different. You also need to understand that there are reasons that advanced methods are called advanced methods. Without the necessary foundation your chances of success are nil.

There is no point in telling you how to get a huge cloud yet because you wouldn't understand anyway. It's not about using this device or that, it's about how you use it.

I agree with what tj99959 said. the larger the clouds, the less flavor and overall satisfaction I have. The closest B&M store to me has cloud chasers as owners/workers. I'll watch them talk about quad coil micro coil designs, how many wraps on their kanthal gets the right resistance, watch them recoil their wicks with cotton, talking about how they need to get the latest battery, and how they've modified their mods to get the best vapor production. They'll drip a few, and I'll see huge plumes extend out a few feet, then plummet to the ground.

While they do that, I'm watching with my little Vamo with an AGA-T u-wick design thinking "wow, It's been three weeks since I touched my coil, still tastes great" pop the cap off, still clear, pop it back on and keep vaping.

I'm not much of a hard core cloud chaser, but I do know, to get the big clouds, there is a lot of work and research to get it. The largest clouds of vapor only come with setups that push the devices to their limits, and that has danger in itself unless you know what you're doing. I would settle for good clouds of vapor first, and find a nice setup that works enough for you to learn what's going on before chasing the largest size cloud.

make sure you read up on vaping before you start chasing clouds or anything close to that. Vaping for most people on this forum is not to get the biggest clouds possible. There are so many variables, flavor ,throat hit, vape, ohms, watts, volts, etc. when you start getting into cloud chasing you start building coils of sorts and the ohms drop drastically. it can get dangerous so make sure you know what your doing before you just dive in head first.

I absolutely, totally agree with all the people who are telling you to do your homework. That's no joke, and will win you much better results in the long run.

    :vapor:

On a lighter note, though, I did recently discover that there are some pretty neat e-hookas on the market.

    Here's a review of one:

    Shisha E-Volve - YouTube

    Looks like fun, I'd say.
