Trying to leave the Reds

Try using a higher VG juice, when I quit I found it gave me a much thicker, more satisfying mouth feel. Also, when I started off, I tried using 36mg nic which is borderline poisonous, and it didn't up the satisfaction, so I wouldn't recommend moving up. Play with the voltage on your mod too, I find that changes the experience a lot.

P.S. DO NOT compare smoking to vaping. You will never get the same experience no matter what, I wouldn't even recommend using tobacco flavors because it will make you want the cigarettes even more (from my experience). I hope this helps from a long time smoker, for a long time smoker

I purchased an aspire premium kit (nautilus mini with battery) I have not left the marlboro reds due to not getting a satisfying mouth feel or full flavor from the aspire in comparison to the reds. I am currently using 18 of nicotine but I feel the need to go back to the reds for satisfaction. Do not know if it is enough nicotine, I do get a throat hit, no head rush, but the mouth full of smoke/fullness is lacking. I do not know if what I refer to as smoke is supplemented by extra vapor.

I understand that I also have to have discipline on my part but I am trying to make the transition as easy as possible.

I also thought about purchasing an original kayfun lite plus v2, I do not know if it would help.

Would a hotter vape help?

Also is there a juice any former red smoker would recommend?

Thanks in advance

Is it the nautilus kit with the cf battery?

Don't worry too much; the first few weeks and months are a bit of a search but you do have a good starter kit.
Your tastebuds are going to change too so what might not satisfy today might change next week and vice versa.

If you're experiencing lacking flavour etc, instead of going for a kayfun, I'd look at a dripper

As a Former L&M Red Smoker (Taste is very Similar to Marlboro Reds) What I have found to be the best thing for me was 24 mg Nicotine I know it seems like overload but It has been the best thing Ive found and gives me that almost harshness but at the same time smooth (if that makes sense) and I also seem to prefer Dark Coffee Flavors My Local Shop has a Dunkin Donut Coffee Blend that seems to be my favorite but Id say there are others around as well!

I am new to this as well. I started two weeks ago and I will tell you that going to a vape shop and trying different juices really helps. The vape shop I went to sat with me and let me try different flavors. Once I had the flavor I tried it in different PG/VG ratios. You will find that the different ratios of the same flavor have different tastes as well so take some time while you are there and find what you really like. I started with RY4 and Desert which is supposed to be close to the brand of cigarettes I smoked. I have since changed to more dessert type flavors because once my taste buds woke up I found that I did not care for the "Analog Taste".

I feel the trip to the vape shop really helped me by getting what worked. I have not had an analog in two weeks since I took my first vape!!!

I quit smoking reds 9 days ago. I haven't had one since, I had no idea what I was doing and went to smoke shop and bought a evod pen and some nasty cheap tobacco flavor at 24mg. The juice was horrible and really hurt my throat. I started looking at other juices because I thought that might me the problem. I went to a Vape shop close to my house and talked with them. I really had no idea what I was looking for as far as flavor, but I wanted something similar to a Marlboro Red. I ended up with Uncle Junks Jon Wayne at 18mg its a tobacco with a sweet caramel flavor to it. I have bought some other juices at 12mg and its still curbs the cravings. My advice to get juice you enjoy and go from there.

Another part to my question, aside from the learning curve of a kayfun, does it provide a better delivery/experience?

It certainly does and if you are a "handy" person it's not a very steep learning curve. Watch a few youtube videos (search kayfun coil builds)and you are on your way. Resistance and what you're driving it with are the only real safety concerns. They are REAL safety concerns BTW. The rest is preference.

After 7 months vaping full time I still prefer tobacco flavors. I was a ~25 year( can't remember really) pack a day full flavored addict. Look for RY4. Most seem to have a light caramel or vanilla flavor added which is fine for me. I just don't get flavors for an all day vape. I like berry cobbler and have something that taste just like it but wouldn't eat it all day long even if I could. Just something that varies by individual.

My favorite by a long shot and buy it 120ml at a time. https://libertyvapor.net/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_87&product_id=50

more vapor and lung hits worked for me. I went from cigalikes back to analogs, protank/ego back to analogs, protank II/vv back to analogs and it was a struggle to stay on them. Ive been use'n my atlantis and subtank for nearly a month now completely off analogs day one and its been easy.

I gave up on tobacco flavors along time ago, not say'n you should but keep your flavor options open. Success on flavors you dont like is nearly impossible.

Too lazy to read the thread - So here's my two cents on the matter I was having some similar problems right when I started (I was able to hold off the urge to smoke analogs after 3 days of vaping but to do so I had to puff away non-stop) I upped to 24 mg and problem was solved. I still Vape a storm whenever I hit one of my old triggers (car especially) but in general I can easily go without for 2 hours on the 24mg and the throat hit is massively different going from 18-24mg which is probably what helped. Good luck.
