It all depends on you here. The innokin VV will get less battery life, but it's more compact and easy to carry around. Between the SID and Vamo is tougher: Both do very similar things, but I'd probably go with the Vamo. The SID's menu system can be a pain to navigate until you get used to it (which won't take too long), but overall, the Vamo is easier to use and looks a little better to the eye. Well, unless you want color options. The blue SID looks pretty nice. :)

Hi

You may want to visit the sub-forums to see what problems current owners are having. I also suggest that if you choose the Vamo, get the SS option. I have the black chrome and the finish wore off where I hold it in less than 4 weeks. I've read that the regular chrome isn't much better.

And I hate to add to your debating, but you might want to look at the Sigelei Zmax. It isn't sold on FastTech, so is a bit more expensive, but I've found it to be made much better than my Vamo.

Three very good choices, and another couple good ones added by others.

Innokin VV now has VW, the only drawback is the battery life.

Vamo does just about everything you could ask for, and is the best bang for the buck. However, people have had problems with the finish, and you need to use care with the threads.

SmokTech SID, basically a cheaper version of the SmokTech Zmax. One thing about the SID, make sure you check on what batteries the vendors recommend, it is my understanding that some batteries don't work well in the SID.

Innoking MVP, very well regarded by those who own them, and the battery life is great.

Sigelei Zmax, my favorite VV/VW APV is my Sigelei Mini Zmax, followed by my Sig Zmax V2, Vamo comes in 3rd. Like the size, weight, and build a little better on the Zmaxes. They do have the one button menu, like the SID, but I had no trouble learning it.

I really can't see where you could go wrong with any of these.

I have the chrome version and noticed this too lol. I thought it was from throwing it in my pocket where I have keys sometimes. But when i had it in shorty mode (which i don't do that often) noticed how steller the end piece looked compared to the rest of the mod. The stainless wasn't available at the time from fasttech though. Good thing I'm more about function over form or I would be a bit peeved.

The mod is so cheap that I don't worry much about how it looks as long as it works fine. I've dropped it a few times and it keeps on ticking (sorry timex) hee hee.

Timex advertising was "takes a licking and keeps on ticking". it still might be their slogan.

If battery life is a concern, definitely look to the vamo or SID. The Zmax is much like the SID in function, but I've had 2 Sigelei ZMAXs and both have had AWFUL threading. Ruined cartos and now nothing will thread onto them. So when looking for a ZMAX, I'd look to SMOK, but you will pay a bit more for those.

This is the first time I have ever seen anyone recommend the smok zmax over the segelei. Just have a look in the APV forums, you'll see which get the better reviews and have fewer problems. I am not saying you are wrong SteamSpot, just that your experience is not widely reported with the Segelei on these forums.

I have a Segelei zmax with excellent threading, really nice finish and it just seems to be a good quality device for the price.

Also, the Vamo has threading issues. I don't care what anyone else says, the Vamo has threading issues. I've seen enough posts on the ECF (plus my own experiences) to determine that they are generally of poor quality. You might get a good one if you are lucky. If you do, they are a great little device for not a lot of money. My SS V2 is a great APV and used to be the device I used the most. I own 2 Vamos by the way in case you think I am just bashing.

Honestly, it probably comes down to whichever you like the look of. They all have very similar features and benefits. I personally think the SVD has a look that only a mother could love, but a lot of other people that I know have it, and like it a lot.

The MVP is another option but it is a VV device only, no ohm checker and a non replaceable battery. So for me that was a deal breaker - for you it might be the right device. A lot of people have them on ECF and most seem to really like them with few issues (mainly the press-fit connector where you screw the clearo / tank in comes lose and then disconnects from the battery)

I watched a bunch of youtube and ECF reviews on each one before I decided which one to go with.

Yes, according to many on ECF the SmokTech Zmax is higher priced and considered lower in quality than the Sigelei. I didn't respond to the post because I didn't want to start a flame war, thank you for saying what needed to be said.

Unless you have an urgent need for something immediately you might want wait to take a look at the Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0, Long-Lasting 2600 mAh Variable Voltage VV Box Mod and the iTaste VTR. There will be reviews up for both when they are released. Both have all the bells and whistles but the box mod form factor will be a bit more discreet at work compared to a tube mod with similar battery life. The MVP will have the longest battery life but the VTR has replaceable batteries and will hold a juice delivery device internally. Both will very likely be more expensive than the Chinese VW/VV tube mods.

The iTaste VTR is on my wishlist going forward pending some good reviews.

Currently, the wife and I have the Tesla Mod............works great, easy to handle, has VV/VW and a simple menu system. Just another option which doesn't get mentioned as often as the others. We love ours and it's not much taller than our eGo 1000mah twists but is thicker so it's easier to hold in the hand. Discount Vapers has this for $65 but you'll also need to get batteries and a charger. You'll need these for the others unless you buy a kit....but beware, not all kit components are quality components.
