So a guy at work gave me his ego c upgrade battery. Yesterday he had dropped it down a floor drain at work and it was briefly submerged in water. I thought that I may be able to revive this battery. It appeared to be completely dead.

I disassembled the unit. During the dis assembly process I accidently broke the black ground wire off the circuit board that houses the switch. Upon reconnecting the wire to the circuit board, I noticed that the leds flash 3 times as if the unit is being turned on. I put a volt meter across the contacts and it reads a steady 3.8 volts. This tells me that the battery is alive.

Now when I press the switch, the led's do not illuminate. I suspect the switch is no longer functioning. But I cannot confirm this because for the life of me, I can't figure out how to ohm it out. Like I said, the unit was briefly submerged in water, but the inside of it is dry as a bone. I put the whole works in a bowl of rice and I'm going to let it sit for a day to soak up any moisture that may not be visible. I figured maybe I might get lucky, and it will start working again. Stranger things have happened.

Anybody have any tips or advice? It'd be awesome if I could get it working again.
