Trying to replace smoking with E-Cigs...again.

I might be asking for too much so I think it's fair to give a reason as to why. I have used two different models of E-Cigs before -- Phantom and eGo -- and both of them had their issues Both models worked great at first and I had no trouble staying away from analog cigarettes while they were working. However, the E-Cigs would eventually start to exhibit problems that made vaping inconvenient and unpleasant. Vapor hits became inconsistent after several months and cartomizers/clearomizers began to leak; and addressing these issues were more inconvenient because replacements and such were sold exclusively online. As a result, I went back to analog cigarettes. To make things worse, I was smoking more per day than I did before I started vaping.

That being said, smoking sucks and I am going to quit with or without E-Cigs. But an E-Cig would make the process so much easier. I was wondering if there was some kind of heavy duty E-Cig that: provides strong and consistent vapor hits, has a life-expectancy greater than several months, and doesn't make a mess. If no such thing exists, then what about a model that's found in local retail stores and provides good vapor hits?

E-Cigs have costed me a lot of money in the past. I can only afford to pay several-hundred dollars a couple times a year so a new E-Cig will have to last longer than the ones I have gotten in the past. A lot of money and my smoking habit is on the line so please be honest. If none of these E-Cigs fit either criteria, please let me know. If you have a recommendation, I'd appreciate it if you left a note saying how long the product should last. Sorry for the long post and thank you for reading.

Mine is supposed to be delivered Tuesday, I started with eGo 1100mAh 3-Stage VV USB Passthrough Battery eGo 1100mAh 3-Stage VV Variable Voltage USB Passthrough Battery
I've been hitting it pretty hard since I started on Christmas day I have a Kanger MT3 tank, an HH357 longbarrel atomizer and an Aspire pyrex bottom dual coil tank the aspire is my favorite. I like the red hot cinnamon candy ejuice and it has been known to crack plastic tanks. Good Luck and if I can answer anything for you I will try, or at least maybe point you at somebody that can

Get some good equipment! If you really want to quite smoking

May I suggest what was suggested to me when I looked into Vaping to stop smoking? Find a B&M vape shop. (Brick and mortar.) You can try things out and know before you spend money. I went with the KangerTech EVOD and I am loving it. I am finally cigarette free!!
Good luck!!

I'm a little over two months from making the switch. A couple of things that helped me:

- I got two MODs (SID) in case one broke. Shopped on-line for the best price.
- I got three clearomizers.
- I got one bottle of 36mg of nicotine juice for stressings.
- I got 3 bottles of 24mg nicotine juice
- I got extra batteries, coils, and repair tools

This I did within the first week. I had a complete extra set in the car, even juice. Wherever I go, I was prepped. It was a simple set-up that was easy to maintain. Being simple, I really appreciated what vaping was doing to my health and happiness. Pretty quickly, my purpose was set.

I lot of things have changed since then. I am lower on nicotine, I am drifting into trying different set-ups and procedures that I learned from others here. It has really become a hobby. These people have taught me how to do things a lot better and it has improved my experience quite a bit.

I appreciate not smoking.

Hope helps

I think your batteries are getting weaking and you're just flying blind not knowing what voltage you are vaping with.

It helps to have a regulated power source which puts out constant power or tells you if it can't

Look for an MVP2 and miniprotank2; I don't know what country you are in, but if there is no vape store near you, the main ingredients are glycerin and propylene glycol.

If you look for an mvp2 only you should be able to get a kit which would include a tank like an iclear 16.

Also, for vaping on a budget to get off cigarettes, you might be interested in these:

I'll second (or third) the B&M suggestion and agree that the Kanger Evod is a great starter kit. It's a good vape, the coils are inexpensive and are also very easy to rebuild (should you decide to at some point).

Speaking of the B&Ms, they are expensive on hardware as a minimum. BUT, they are a good place to try out brands of e-juice. Taste test and then go on-line to purchase. B&Ms are also good emergency places if you need something like in the next hour. I just don't think I have found experienced and knowledgeable people there. I have talked to several on-line merchants via chat and e-mail and I have found a lot more knowledge and experience.

E-cigs can cost if it becomes a hobby. Just identify needs and go from there.

Well, can you back up a bit and give us some specifics about what were the problems?

What were you having leaking problems with? Was it a clearo, carto or a carto tank? Problems can be fixed. Specific product names would help.

What were the eGo batteries and what was the problem?

So far you are getting suggestions for not much more than advanced batteries. That doesn't necessarily make the experience more convenient if you pick another topper for it that you have had problems with in the past. We can throw out hundreds of suggestions, but not knowing more detail about what didn't work and what you didn't like it's pretty much shooting blind.

Give us some more!

I second the itaste mvp, solid construction, long battery life (2-3 days on a charge), 1+ year lifespan.

For tanks kanger evod is also sturdy and reliable, plastic with an aluminum shell, coils you can change when they wear out, you can buy premade coils for cheap, or rebuild them if you want to.

Just a suggestion, these things work for me.
