Tugboat mod

I have been problems with my tugboat. It's the first tugboat mod not the copper one. When I got it it was fine. I didn't use it for a while because I got a new mod. Now when I try to use it it seems like it takes forever to heat up. I heard the noise at the beginning but it takes forever to actually start producing vapor.

I have a 22 gauge 5 wrap on mutation x v3 on it and I have had other builds on it to test it but it still doesn't fire well.

Some other info about it:
The batteries are not the problem tested on my other mod. (3 week old Sony vtc4)
The rda also works on my other mods fine.

Any ideas on what it could be. Thinking about going to a local vape shop to see if they could help but wanted to see what If I could find a solution online.

What is the ohm of your build? 22 gauge wire will take a long time to heat up/cool down.

If that build fires up okay on other mechanicals you may need to take you tugboat apart and clean it.

That's some heavy a,, wire man.

I can't imagine that heating up good on a mech.

But susi said it, I would Clean everything, threads, button, contacts.

if it used to fire well... and now does not maybe all you need to do is dry-burn the coils , flake the gunk off, and re-wick it? oh ... it works well on your other mech mods? then probably not a gunked coil issue... try the prior suggestion of cleaning all contacts...

What would I use to clean the mod? Any special products like alcohol.
