I have been vaping my itaste MVP 2.0 for a while now with a nautilus. I was having issues with the nautilus after awhile and decided to buy an RDA to take my vaping to the next level. Eventually I plan on getting a better mod.
However, my issue is below...
I was somewhat successful in building a 1.8 ohm single coil (micro?? wrapped around 3 mm screwdriver). I got it to fire pretty good like almost instantly at about 4.2 volts and it was glowing really nicely from the inside out. Didn't see any hotspots.
For some reason though, the coil smelled like awful like burnt oven burners and this was before I had even placed any wicking in and juice.
I kept dry burning it thinking maybe the hot wire RDA kanthal I bought from VaporDNA was pretreated with something.
Once I thought this was all set I loaded up the Cotton (not too much not too little) to where when i pulled back and forth it had some nice wiggle like I see on the videos.
Had great vapor production but was tasting that awful like burnt smell that I explained above.
The cotton was definitely nice and wet from my dripped juice.
I was dripping 100 VG open source vapors spicy orange mango.
Can someone please help me out here and advise??? I don't get it
