RDA Tugboat RDA: Copper Post Safe?

Im sure many of you ar familiar w/ Rip's Tugboat rda V2 review, where he mentions his concern with the Copper center-post.

I just ordered a Tobeco clone and am now wondering if I should just immediately return it.

Anybody have any views on the safety (or lack thereof) of copper in rda's etc?

I've asked this as well, and the fact is that you never really know what is in the copper, especially with a clone. I have three RDAs with copper: a copper Mutation X V4, a copper Little Boy clone, and a doge V2 clone with copper center post - and use them sparingly if at all.

I try to stick with solid stainless steel RDAs for this very reason.

hmm... I contacted the seller, and it turns out that their center pins are brass or gold-plated or something; although at 15$, I cant imagine its gold.

I just decided to take refund.


Edit: Killer news!!. after corresponding with a Youtube vape-tip / reviewer (buttkicker), I was pointed towards a PA vapeshop called Steel Vapor... and sure enough, all they carry are all Stainless Steel Tobeco Tugboats.

Actually, all they carry are the Polished versions, but the owner (shoutout to Anthony!!) is ordering a Matte finish rda.


I am sooo pumped to get this flavor-beast!!
