The way the whole discussion was handled was wrong. We were told you needed to call to get on the speaking list, then it was you had to come in and fill out a form before 5:00, then it was you had to be a resident of Tupelo. Yet, the city council allowed 2 people to speak AGAINST e-cigs that were not Tupelo residents or business owners. The whole thing was a bit sham.

The ban passed. It includes e-cigarettes in any public locations and within 25 feet of any business entrance. They did make an exception for vape shops.

It was a done deal. That's how politics works. It's done behind the scenes--it's "wired" ahead of time. You never had a chance.
