Turn a Vamo into a lightsaber handle...or a bomb...or a dud, using extra extensions

I can't be the only one with two Vamo's. Has anyone attempted to run three 18350's in a Vamo by using the extension tube from another Vamo? or run a 18650 and a 18350 together using an extra extension tube?

Yes, I know that's probably the stupidest thing posted today and potentially very dangerous. Just wondered if it would work. And if it did work, who has tried it.

I would be a test subject, but all I have at the moment are two 18650's.8-o

I'm OK with two 18650's but three 18350's could be up to is 12.6 volts! I doubt the unit is designed for that.

So two additional extensions would let me run stacked 18650's, and one extra extension would let me run an 18650 and a 18350. But trying to run three 18350's would push the voltage up into the 12 volt range, which would be bad. Running two different sized batteries would be bad as well because of the different discharge rates.

Just so I've got it straight, the only multiple extension mod I should consider is running two 18650 batteries, and that is not recommended because stacking batteries is not the safest of things to do unless you keep a very close eye on them and monitor their voltage carefully and often.

Every laptop battery uses 6-9 18650's in a series. Go for maximum stackage! ;-)

I've been running stacked 14500's, 18350's and 18650's for a couple years with no problems. Except when a cheap charger over charged a couple of my IMRs. YMMV.
