Not really. What's your problem with having an LED? If you just want to stop the led from showing you can carefully paint over the lens with black paint. The LED lens cover is tightly glued on,

thats not the only reason, i figure because its soo bright i might gain a few extra puffs on the battery.. i bet it would also shine right through black paint. i was thingking about poping the top and putting something over it..i could remove the 901 ash tips but the 510 seems a little tighter.
it's such a tiny led I doubt you would gain much from disabling it, but if you use a lil flatblade screwdriver in a small notch on the side of the cap, it'll come off fairly easily.
has anyone done this?? i would like to make 2 of my batteries light free. for when i want it to stay completely dark.
A 901 cartridge cap will fit on the 510 battery. Or you can buy an LEDless battery, which is what I do.
pop the cap, put a small piece of black electrical tape over the led board, replace cap, pretend you're a vaping ninja.
I just hold it in with my hand covering the led and use my thumb to press the button, its way more comfortable and it doesnt look like im smoking a joint or batty. Cant do that with an anolog without burning your hand...lol
just did it, the ash tip literally pops off, and pops far. it takes a few layers of electrical tape to completely block the light
ive never really had a problem w/ the led's, but now i have reason to have them dark. ive got 20 manual/led batteries. Thats about 2 years worth, so im currently making half of them dark.. i already have a supplier of manual 510 batteries for <5$ a piece. modding them is working great and its reverseable.
If u just use 2 layers of electrical tape it prevents the led from shining bright but u can still see a slight dot of light. =) im happy now.

the batteries are $5 a piece, and the atomizers are $5 a piece when a comlpete kit (2 batts, 2 atomizers,5 carts, charger) cost's $24. Healthcabin. I used to get them for $21 a kit, but i like Amy's customer service better. u Can get 10 batteries, 10 atomizers, 25 carts ETC.. for $146 shipping included.
