I've seen eGo batteries with a LED sold on ebay as torches, so YES it can be done (and is being done).

An e-cig that looks like a light saber might also be qool.

It would be a bit more useful if you mounted the head of a laser pointer in an atomizer. That way, you can use you eGo as a laser pointer for a presentation. Once done, you can swap to a carto or a tank and vape away...
