Turning Cartos into Drippers

So i watched some tips and trick vid from Doctor Vapor on vapetv.com where it shows you how to pull the filler out of a carto and use the carto to drip. Anyone do this? I've tried twice so far and failed hardcore both times i always end ub breaking the wire thing....

I was dumb and all i ordered was cartos nasty pre-filled ones at that. All i keep reading now is hot direct dripping is awesome and tastes so great and i really wanna try it now cause my RY4 and Turkish are not tasting like they did when i first started vaping them... Now i can only take a few hits and i'm luck meh they don't taste awfull or anything just not good enough to want to vape them as much as i was when i first started so now i keep ending up smoking an analog everynight after i grind my teeth for a few hours cause i'm not vaping enough since i don't care for the taste.

Anyway thought dripping might help flavor wise and i don't have the cash to order anything till late weds so i probably wont get new juice till sat. Any and all tips and tricks are appreciated.

I followed his directions and messed up the first one because it was a dry carto, pulled the center coil, so I suggest soaking your carto if you have one that is dry or washed and dry. I think the stuffing has to be damp to come out easily. Good luck!

I tossed the second washed carto in a glass of water and it worked great.. vaping on it now!

im curious about it. i tried it b4 but without seeing the video and you know what happened. maybe we can stick some silica wick in there to hold some ejuice.

Hey Anavrin - I feel your pain! I've been thru some burnt cartos (learning curve) - I watched the video you referenced (Dr Vapor) and a couple others, tried it and failed miserably - Have been vaping for 2 months and am to the point now where everything is kickin ... - Quite analogs the day I got my first kit (Kr8 batts, chargers, etc. from V4L)
I realized quickly that instead of prefilled cartos, I needed blank cartos and ejuice - Did some more reading, here and elsewhere, watched a ton of YouTube videos and ordered blanks from V4L.com - Life is now good-Clouds of vapor at home and on the road - keep my 7 batteries in constant charging rotation and BTW the batts to get I'll list below:

-Batteries - "New" XL manual batts (Vapor King) from Vapor4Life.com - these have the longest life between charges (have four of these now)
-Cartomizers - "Cool carts" from Vapor4Life.com - I've dripped 30 to 35 drops in these with room to spare - they are slightly longer than the premiums or the originals and I've yet to get one of them "hot" - you definately want to keep the filler wet - I fill a carto and at the end of the day after I've been vaping several flavors I then rubber band each carto to it's corresponding ejuice bottle so there's no cross contamination of flavors - I'll continue to re-fill these until the vapor diminishes - I've been refilling or topping off all of them for 2 weeks now and they're still producing massive. (You need to find a video that shows correct way to refill and spin these so you don't end up suckin' juice each time you top off)
-Buying ejuice now from TastyVapor.us and it is amazing - custom mixed when you order (I'm lovin' Atomic Cinnacide, Kretek (Clove), Almond Horn, Bananas Foster - Great stuff! Really affordable - check out his site to see how he does it - click on FAQ for great info.

Just murdered a third carto... I don't think i can do it with these cartos the wire and "wick sock" seem to be stuck in the filler i've soaked em and watched the vids a couple times i think it's a lost cause. I got my 510 cartos from altsmoke i just don't think the manufacturer wants me dripping on their cartos. oh well.

Great vid! Just gave it a shot with one of my old burnt tasting SLB cartos... I used the brute force method and the paper sleave around the coil was inadvertently ripped out with the filler.

No worries, it is now performing better than new!

Seems to take/use alot of juice though... Initiall put in 10 drops and had to redrip after only three toots... Maybe I'm just missing the ceramic cup when dripping.

Thanks again for the vid! I can now resurrect some of my old cartos!

Followup: Decided to dissect one of my cartos that the filling was completely burnt... Hmm, no ceramic cup in these things. just a piece of plastic underneath the coil... Now, on to search the forum for more details on cartomizers...
