I just got my first mech a turtleship clone and ive been having trouble with a tiny spot on the side of the button getting hot I will list the things ive tried so far with no luck, full thorough cleaning body threads contacts spring ect 3x, raised the ohms on my build from .2 to .33, checked for shorts multiple times in the mod itself and the rdas I used, a ran through the whole mod with my dmm checking for continuity issues none were found even when I broke it down to check the parts individually, I made a close inspection of the intire mod looking for burrs or uneven points of contact again nothing was found I even removed the spring and replaced it with piece of silicon as ive seen others suggest on here to take the amps off the switch this only made the problem worse the entire button started warming up, I am stumped here the only thing I can think of is perhaps the threading could be poor enough that its causing arcing though I have not noticed any black build up on my contacts though that could be because I havnt used it enough for it to build up yet, any help or advice would be great as of now the mods out of commission until I get this fixed
