Hot button is a common problem for some mechanical mods using springs. Springs are resistive and conductive meaning current will flow to them with resistance and if your spring is not up to the task... you will have hot firing button issues and in some cases collapsed burnt springs.
Using a non conductive spring medium will fix this issue and silicone drip tip cover is simple fix. It is non conductive and non resistive, so not only you will fix hot button issues but you will also have no voltage drop or loss that a regular spring will have. I have tested my Turtleship and Anatolian for straight 2 days with coil resistance of .2 & .08 and so far not a single hot button issue. You will also gain anywhere from .2V or more depending on the type of metal springs that you are replacing.
What do you need:
silicone drip tip cover/sleeve
scissor
Procedure:
1. measure the height of your firing button
2. cut silicone sleeve to height, make it 1-2 millimeter taller to ensure no rattle
3. reassemble your firing assembly
*Note: your metal spring isn't needed anymore
