So my order arrived in canada yesterday five days after it was shipped. and I'm thrilled! I ordered a TV 510 kit for my boyfriend and he instantly read the instructions and informed me that the instructions said to charge the batts for 8 hours, use them for 20 minutes, and then charge again. Now when i got my 401 i was told by other users that as long as the batts were in the charger till the light went green and i then used them for the recommended time and then recharged them they would be fine.

Is this true with the TV 510's? my boyfriend wants me to get other 510 users' opinions as its a different model and might behave differently to my 510.

Can you help me out???

Yes IMHO they will be fine either way. I have used mine right out of the box and I have never lost a battery and I have charged them for way more than 8 hours at times too.

Hey Angie, where you getting your batteries? I bought a 10 pack from Health Cabin (Joye 510 mega batteries) a little over a month ago, and I have already lost 3. They warrant them, but I have to ship back to China and wait 2 weeks to get them replaced. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but they are deader than a door nail.

Hi Hailey, Been wondering how you've been?
Have you tried cleaning the threads with a Q-tip barely damp with rubbing alcohol? Also I have realized that your charger unit could get junked up from junked up batteries so you make want to carefully clean it the same way. Let me know. I have never killed a battery yet so I wouldn't know how or who to return them to, and now I have a Ego that I love. I bought mine as complete kits.

Yeah, I have tried cleaning the threads, and I already cleaned my charger too. Health Cabin is replacing them. I am planning on getting a TV EGO soon, just haven't needed too. I still have 12, 510 batteries left and have been really busy this summer with my kiddo's. Did you finally get ya some Cherry Cola?
