Ok maybe this is posted somewhere maybe it isn't. I was wondering what the best combo for the twist and attys, LR or SR. I just bought a twist and I have it on a LR 306 atty and just wondering what's going to happen. How will vaping at a higher voltage effect lifespan?

I think this may have gone unanswered because your question needs a little more clarification. Are you asking about the lifespan of the Twist or of the Atty. The Twist has a 3 amp switch so you should be able to vape just up to 4.5v with the 1.5 atty producing 13.5w and it shouldn't hurt the battery. You could always go with a 1.7 ohm atty and crank it up to max at 4.8v, this will keep you under the 3 amp limit at 2.82 amps and also give you 13.5 watts.

I'd probably go with the 1.7 ohm, get the same wattage and slightly less amps

I Use 1.8 ohm atty's. They used to last about 6-9 months on a Riva battery, which is about 4.1 V max.

Since getting a twist about 2 months ago, I've burned out 2 atty's. I'm running at about 4.4 V most of the time, never 4.8 V---it might not even go that high with 1.8 ohms attached.

So, yes, you may burn out atty's quicker.

I should add that I'm using a type B tank and both burnouts occurred when the tank was empty, or almost empty. So maybe if I'm more careful about this there will be no problem. I didn't have to worry about this with the Riva battery, it seems.
