Twisted and parallel

hopeing someone here could educate me a bit. i've been dripping and rebuilding for some time now and also have been experiementing with differnt types of wires. nano to macro, twisted to parallel. the question is what is the real difference between a parallel build and a twisted build. i mean in theory is sounds the same, two wires going into a positive and negative post its just the physical placement that looks apart. one is twisted and one is not. i honestly do not see a difference in performance or flavor as well as resistance in my opinion. thanks in advance for any responses.

Twisted will take longer to heat and parallel is much faster. Due to ohm reading.. you'll Jane to talk with a more educated member but twisted essentially creates one thicker wire and parallel is as it says runs two wires in parallel

The twisting of the wire is a way of making smaller wire perform like thicker wire. twisting 2 strands of 28awg will essentially be like using 1 strand of 26awg. In parallel the wires are not twisted, they are next to each other like railroad tracks.
