Twisted Coil (zipper coil to be specific) Questions

Hey guys,
So, I've been vaping for a while now. I've been using my Mechanical Chi-You Mod with my doge RDA (Btw if you have never tried this RDA... TRY IT NOW!!! BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK.... $40 BUCKS!!!! WHAT!!!) i digress.

Anyways, I've just started to undertake more "complex" builds the first one being my zipper coil. Its an amazing build and the best flavor ive had from a build to date, especially with my doge RDA.

My question however, I messed up the build and the "treads" are both going in the same direction \ \ instead of \ /.. Does this effect the build at all or is this just an aesthetic bit of the build?

I built my very first zipper coil today...



I've since built a few others, and I messed two up in the same fashion you did. It may just be my imagination, but the cleave created by the treads properly facing each other /\ creates a cleave in the middle that I find helps the collection of juice on the coil itself, resulting in an even better flavor than the // fashion. I can't back it up with hard science, but there is a noticeable difference in my Pluid between each style.

Also built my first Sleeper/Zipper ("Slipper"? Lol) coil today later on



Bottom line, I LOVE the zipper coil...!

I did a zipper this past week for the first time with 26g and IMO twisting the wires in opposite direction to get \/ instead of \\ or // directions is gonna perform better, keep in mind i havent tried \\ or // but with the juice channels lined up the way they are with it set up lik \/ it keeps the channels kinda seperated instead of inline with each other so your making more individual juice channels with is gonna give better flavor and cloud performance in my opinion
