Which annual conference were/are these Poster presentations?

The numbering system looks like SRNT (Society for Research on Nicotine and tobacco). I'll be attending the one in Seattle that starts next week.

Yup. They have the final program posted now. That's it. I'll be sure to go talk to them.

This time there are a lot of presentations and posters on e-cigarettes, and even 2 years ago (the last time I attended) not all of the presentations were hostile to the idea. It looks to me as if the attitude is slowly changing in the scientific community.

Four years ago, the SRNT conference didn't mention e-cigarettes very often, but the attitude was definitely one of derision. When I went up to a speaker after his presentation and related how I had been smoke free for a year, thanks to switching to an e-cigarette, he congratulated me on having overcome my addiction.

*sigh* Talk about totally missing the point.

I was made speechless. I should have told him, "It's nice of you to say that, but you see I still use nicotine. That's not important right now. What's important is that I don't inhale smoke any more."
