I guess I'll start here...

Greetings! I'm Chris, and I'm brand new to vaping. Through a search for smoking cessation techniques I learned about vaping, and decided to try it. I started with a popular brand, and quickly upgraded to a larger PV. I recieved my Volcano Inferno last week and have LOVED it so far. In fact, Its now been two whole days since my last analog.

I currently reside in the DFW MetroMess area, but I'm originally from South Louisiana. I'm a true bred, born, and raised Cajun, but after ten years I recently accquired my 'Texan Card' when I was actually excited that the Rangers are heading to the World Series. I'm also a pet photographer, although my employment as a 911 operator is what pays the bills.

I've heard alot about this forum, so I'm hoping to learn a lot. Thanks for your time!

Greetings Chris. welcome to ECF! congratulations on your PV choice. my advice to you is to experiment. order some different flavors, even things that may sound weird, you might find something that makes it even better. my favorite flavor is RY4, which i'm glad i found. unless you try new flavors, you'll miss stuff. i remember saying to myself, "what the hell is an RY4?"... i'm glad i ordered some. Happy Vaping!!!

Welcome, Chris! Glad you're loving your Volcano! You're off to a great start, which is always nice to hear. sl_rat is right about juices. Experiment and try new stuff, just buy small bottles so you don't waste money on a juice you end up hating. My WTF is that flavor was Swedish Fish. Honestly, I still haven't tried it, but at least now I know it doesn't have anything to do with fish.

Thanks! I am lucky enough to have a local store about 5 miles from my home. I found it through a Google search, and visited last Thursday. The guy who owns it mixes his own juices there, and prices are comparable to other places on the net. He frequently hosts sampling sessions, so I'll try to attend one of those soon.

Lucky you! The closest vendor to me is in Breckenridge, and I have no desire to fight Eisenhower Tunnel traffic just for juice and parts.

Yeah, I was quite surprised, but delighted when I found it. I went in on Friday and bought some 0 nic Banana Cream Pie. I like it, but I'm still enjoying the Tennessee Cured flavor I bought from Johnson's Creek more. I supposed I'll find more favorites as I move along through this venture. I'm seriously enjoying vaping though. It combines two of my favorite things - smoking and technology. I'm a total sucker for electronics.

Thanks y'all.... right now I'm just kinda hanging out. I've read enough over the last few weeks that my eyes are crossed and my head is spinning. I still dont understand the 510/901 thing, but I *DO* know that I have my Inferno and its working thus far. I suspect after a few weeks I'll decide to learn more, and will pick up on the reading, but there is A LOT to learn. You wouldn't think that there would be so much information....
