First question:
Now I wanna get the general feel for rdas to eventually move to those completely, but I'm not sure were to start, so any pointers would be fantastic.

Second question:
I'm on that focalecig website looking at this marstech ok telescoping mod and I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on them.

I can answer your first question without second guessing. Without a doubt go with the Igo-W or Igo-L. Those were almost everyones first rda's, including mine. They are actually pretty cheap and worth every penny.

I've never heard of the marstech mod, maby some other members can answer that for you

Okay thank you I'll have to purchase one of those rdas in a bit since I can't seem to go a day with out buying something :) and about the marstech mod I saw it on focalecig it's like 21$ or something and it looks worth the buy but I can't find a review on it.

The marstech: My local b&m had one of those. It seemed OK when I tried it. I think it was made out if aluminum though. For the price, there are definitely better mechs out there. A Nemesis clone or a Caravela clone would be my suggestion. If you want a top side button, I really don't know of any that I'd feel comfortable recommending.

I'll second the Igo-L. My first RDA was a Scar (because it was like $6) but I like the Igo-L better just because it's a little easier to build on, and the price is still pretty darn reasonable.

Honestly, the whole Igo line seems pretty well thought of (except maybe the F, which I've seen a few negatives on) and pretty inexpensive.

One word of caution, you may find that you'll need to drill the air hole out in that L. Most people (myself included) find it to be too tight of a draw with the stock air hole.

Ya I drill air holes on all my rebuildables with 3/36 drill bit, but that's just personal preference.

Another vote for the igo series, specifically the L for single or the W for duals. Cheap, good quality, and if dripping isnt ur thing u are only out $20 rather than $60-$80. I have one on my nzonic clone and it works well. Decent flavor (by comparison to high ends) and good vapor production. Just depends how u build it.

Oh ya and wen u drill ur airhole start small! You can always drill it bigger but u cant undrill it.

+1. I bought a set of el-cheapo miniature drill bits off Amazon that fit my Dremel for about $10 just for that purpose. They go from like .4mm to just over 2mm.

i believe the stock airhole on an igo is 1mm. I started at 1.5mm used it for about a week then bored out to 2mm. I like it but will prolly go out to 2.25 or 2.5mm. I sub around .4-.6 ohms.

Also consider the more air you introduce the less flavor u will get, but you will get more vapor. Its a balance of trying to find your happy medium. That is where high end drippers fill the gap with adjustable airflow control alowing you to choice what balance you want
