Yeah, my next stop was either the vivi nova or some Boge cartos. Tell me this though (still in noob mode), what is the difference between standard and low resistance heads?? At the moment I have a standard 640mah Ego battery, but my kind girlfriend is getting me an Ego Twist for my birthday in a couple of weeks!

Low resistance vs standard only comes into play with fixed voltage, such as your ego. It comes down to watts. With a lr(1.8ohm) atty @ 3.4v you will be getting about 6.5 watts, with a standard resistance(2.4ohm) you will be around 4.25 watts. Try to think of watts in terms of heat, the higher the watts, the warmer the vape, and the more like a smoke it will be.

With the twist... you will be able to achieve even higher watts if you decide, due to the variable voltage.

Heres a chart that will help with the math

I'm 2 and a half weeks into my life as a vaper. I continued to have 3 or 4 stinkies for the first week or so but have completely smoke free since last Thursday. All in all I really love vaping, have adjusted completely to the experience and the difference in how you 'smoke' the pv, for want of a better word, am starting to narrow down my preferred juices, etc. Just really loving vaping.

Up until now I've been using the standard eGo_C kit with its separate atomizer and 1ml cartridges. However, on Saturday I received my Kanger T3 in the post and, after much excitement, got it all cleaned out, filled with juice, and hooked up. I've tried it repeatedly since then but tonight I'm just losing the will to live with it. Despite a good cleaning, I consistently get a plasticy taste from it, along with some gurgling and juice landing on my tongue. I've made sure the centre tube is completely free from juice, but still it persists.

Am I doing something wrong? Have I got a dodgy Kanger? Or are they just rubbish afterall?

I had the same feeling with the kanger when I first tried it. Now i'm on rebuildables, and I have to say that there is no way i'm going back to clearomizers anymore. Vivi nova is a good one, although if you are planning to vape for a while and don't mind spending $ on it, then I would recommend you to jump on the GG RBA's they are on a totally different level from clearomizers

Yeah it is true - RBA's are the only true flavor savers. I don't have any genuine GG's, but the Terminators I do have work the same way, and since I've gotten them dialed in every other atty seems second to them. I take my Vivi out so I don't loose big investment if I were to drop something, but I'm reminded every time why I love the RBA's & will never stop loving them.
