Today marks two weeks without Analogs!!! I haven't given it. Most of the time, I've not had a lot of urges. After lunch, though, likes to kill me. I think if I stumble, it'll be after lunch.

I have a pass-thru I use in the car. Since I'm a field service rep, I spend a long time in my car. I put in a carto in the pass-thru with a lower nic juice in it. That way, I don't overdose if I chain-vape. I keep my beloved menthol in my PV & try not to vape it unless I have to. When I'm not driving, I carry the menthol. This seems to work for me, I hope I'm doing it right.

I've never gone two weeks in my adult life without an analog.

Hey Dummy!
Good job!

I wouldn't worry about overdosing at the start of the switch to vaping from smoking.
I would actually worry about not getting enough nicotine from vaping, and then you go back to analogs.
From my personal experience and from hearing about others on this site, you really want to INCREASE the nic content in your juice to REDUCE the cravings at first.
After a month or two of being analog free you can start to reduce the nic level.
I had cravings occasionally and actually vaped my 24mg juice when I had them. It really helps.

Good luck on your journey. Wait till you find out how much more endurance you will have!

Let me clarify a bit...

It is really hard to vape too much nicotine.
Nicotine is not as easily absorbed by the body when the delivery method is vaping instead of smoking.
Besides, when was the last time you heard of someone overdosing on nicotine?
It really doesn't happen.
Up the nic levels in your juice and the cravings will be greatly reduced.

People do OD on nicotine with Ecigs. It's easy to recognize, just like the ringing ears, dizziness, and slight nauseated feeling you got when you first smoked a cigarette. Recognizing the symptoms is easy after you've done it once.

Vaping heavily for a couple of minutes does take away the craving when it hits. That's how most of us learned how to identify the symptoms of nic OD.

Thanks, everyone for the encoragement. (yeah, I still need encouragement) I do keep some 24mg menthol around for cravings, but normally vape 18mg. I've been getting my coffee at a different store, since I bought my analogs at that same store. I forgot this morning & stopped at my old store. Well, I got in & out without buying analogs, didn't even think of it until I was a few miles down the road. Hopefully, I can keep it up. 45 years of smoking is hard to stop.
