I know....I know......it rhymes.
I'll be travelling to Thailand shortly, and all I can seem to find are older threads from 3-to-5 years ago regarding vaping and availability of supplies in Thailand, specifically Bangkok.

Are e-cigs and supplies legal and readily available as of July, 2016? (All I can think of are horror scenes of torture and imprisonment from that old movie, 'Midnight Express'.....YIKES!). Does anyone know for SURE?

Any other info or advice about spending some time in Thailand, and any vaping-specific info appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Nowadays it's getting almost to the point of impossible to import, carry, buy or vape. The govt still undecided about its direction since the income feom stinkies are phenominal coz all are made feom the Thai Tobacco Monopoly which, in turn, operates directly under the Ministry of Finance!
Usually, I would say you can come into the country without much problem if you're not carrying much. But things seem to get more strict.
Ok, it's still fine to vape as long as you don't go blowing great big cloud in public area. But somehow, some cops in some areas had taken upon themselves as a way of income to search and arrest anyone who even just carry a set of vape gear.
If you are Caucasian, they'll probably won't bother you. Details of 2 cops getting evicted from their jobs can be found since they arrested and fined 2 foreigners who "carried" vape gears for peesonal use.
So, coming in to Thailand with just a bit should be fine. I just came back from another country a few days ago and almost all of my ~50 bottles of e-liquids were confiscated. Luckily they didn't arrest me or took my vaping gear.
As for another question, it's not impossible to find supplies and liquids but not good ones and the prices are rediculous unless you order from facebook and I think most of them are "secret".
Anyway, if you're in Thailand and need assistance, plz let me know. I have a few friends who sells whatever you need and lives in Bangkok. I'll be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

Ah, that was Turkey, not Thailand. But I get your point.

@aceman3330 , I didn't know there was such a limitation on vaping there, although if the financial ties between tobacco and the government are so tight, that's understandable. Having 50 bottles confiscated is really a downer. At least there was no fine or anything.

Yes, Midnight Express was Turkey. If I remember correctly, it was based on a true story. A nightmare scenario where a young guy gets caught with a small amount of 'contraband', and is then tossed into a prison and the prison 'system', if one could call it that. The 'system' was one in which you were, at least at the time, left to rot, disappear, die, and any other bad outcome that you can think of.

It'a not a limitation on vaping. You CANNOT import, sell, give,service or advertise, period. And yes, 50+ bottles (20 of them are 100 ml.) bottles confiscated is definitely a downer, I'm still brooding and recovering from heartburn which always come with stress.
