Yes, but suppliers generally order in massive bulk quantities so they can keep the cost down to less than we can get it for. Shipping charges are expected, but within the U.S., I would expect them to be below $10.

U.S. suppliers will have to figure something out, or we'll continue to order direct from China unless U.S. suppliers can make it cheaper for us to order from them. As it stands, I've found it cheaper to order from China suppliers even with the cost of their shipping.

what sites are you looking at and what types of carts are you looking to get? I don't know of any US Suppliers (well, maybe one but very cheap prices) w/ $10- shipping!!! Most are $5.95 flat rate or go by weight- Some are free shipping depending on order...
Give the cart types and we can move you in the proper direction- OR just head over to the Supplier board and look through all of them until you find one comfortable for you- Even Heaven-gifts as great as their prices are on SOME items, shipping puts them over the top for me so I have found great US suppliers to do business with

I prefer to order from US vendors for the customer service. If I get a bad part I want to be able to return it easily.

I'd also pay a few dollars to get it sooner. ;)

A few vendors will use first class mail instead of priority shipping. This allows for free or cheaper shipping versus the $5 for priority mail. Naturally the item has to be fairly small.

It all comes out in the wash if you really look at it. Doesn't matter if you ordered 5,000 of them and got the price down to .90 per 10pack - vendors still need to charge a certain price to make up for shipping (yes 5,000 carts costs a bit to ship, even as light as they seem), their time unpacking, stocking, pulling orders, packing and shipping them out to you.

So really - It is all a matter of what you want to do - pay 21.80 for a 10 pack from China so you only have paid '1.80', or you can pay 9 bucks plus whatever type of shipping you get here in the states from a vendor - let's say 5.95 - so 14.95 for the same thing and have faster customer service if you need it :)

Just a choice really.

Take care,
- Hap

Sorry, but unfortunately your math just doesn't add up even close. Here's the real math:

China order = 200 carts @ $1.80/10 = $36 + shipping $19 = $56 total cost.

U.S. supplier (using your figures of $9 per 10) = 200 carts = $180 + shipping $5 (probably would really be more than $5) = $185 total cost.

Bottom line: I saved $129 by ordering from the China supplier (healthcabin).

Yes, I completely agree! Especially since I've been looking into making a new business out of e-cig stuff, I've checked out many top Chinese manufacturers and it just doesn't seem to be worth the hassle esp. since Chinese customs (esp. HK) has started really cracking down.
But, it's true regardless, the US suppliers have to turn a profit somehow or they just wouldn't keep doing it!

Unfortunately, we the consumer are not interested in growing YOUR U.S. business and paying higher costs just to support you. Maybe we would if the price was even close in comparison, but not when the price is extremely less expensive when ordering direct from the China suppliers. Unless you can compete with the low China prices, then I wouldn't recommend going into this business in the U.S. As it stands, and I'm repeating myself, it is significantly less costly to order supplies from China than it is from any U.S. site (who originally got them from China to begn with anyway). Cut out the middle man, save lots of money. Sorry U.S. suppliers, but until someone starts actually manufacturing these supplies in the U.S., you just can't compete with the Chinese prices. And so far I haven't had any problem receiving my orders from them.

There are suppliers that make juice here in the states and many of the mods. I don't of anyone who orders carts by 200 for an individual to use, 99.999% of us refill our own carts even those of us in the cartomizer crowd. The math he used was right, only a fool would order 200 carts in 20 lots of 10 and pay shipping on 20 separate orders.

Nhaler makes juice in NJ, Dawn in IN makes and a couple of others as well. I can see where yes you could save some cash by ordering in bulk from China, but everyone knows that. Buy in bulk and save, places like Costco have proven that time and time again to the consumer. If you have the time to wait buying direct from China is going to save you money in the long run. I don't know about others but I don't intend on vaping for the rest of my life, these are a tool to get away and off of smoking and lowering my nic dose each month. I don't know if having 200 carts lying around for my GreenCig would be conducive to my goal.

I can't make sense out of your post, snarkyone. (Sorry, tried to, but it just doesn't make sense.) Why would I pay shipping on 20 separate orders? Again, I'll show the math, and the HUGE savings by buying from a China supplier:

China order = 200 carts @ $1.80 per 10 = $36 + shipping $19 = $56 total cost.

U.S. supplier = 200 carts @ $9 per 10 = $180 + shipping $5 (probably would really be more than $5) = $185 total cost.

Savings by ordering direct from China: $129

Now about the juice, I am aware of U.S. suppliers. I like Johnson Creek nic-juice. However, it's pretty simple to make your own juice for MUCH less than you can buy it for. But when it comes to the cartridges, I don't mind paying $50 or so for a supply that will last me for probably 9 months & not have to deal with packing my own & I can use a nice fresh cart every day or so. So, I buy blank carts & fill them with my own juice - very inexpensive & very simple way to go.

OK I see where I made a mistake in my post, I thought you had done it with 20 orders of 10 carts each from China since it's rare for someone to purchase 200 carts. Sorry about that. I see what you mean it is far cheaper to go through China but your taking a chance on it not arriving, and waiting a while for it. That is why many of us don't mind paying a slight markup for the faster service. I plan on buying GreenCig carts in a bulk order myself here this next week or so once I get the reply back from the supplier on cost. I would advocate doing that for sure.

Actually, the delivery was pretty quick. About a week. (And I never pay for more than just standard shipping.) I haven't had any problem at all receiving any of my orders from China. Since shipping is higher than ordering local, that's why I order in bulk and only pay those shipping charges once. It's also not just a "slight" savings; it's a significant savings - $129 to be exact - on just carts. (Besides, any parts you order in the U.S. originated in China. I'm just cutting out the middle man and saving alot of money doing so.)

Good luck!
