Oh, that is a let down. This could make things confusing when purchasing replacement parts from resellers, if not careful.

Glad I got a ss piece for my UFS "MKI" and all the options I could get for it. So this also means a difference in the clear windows... Guess I need to get a couple clears if I can, cause mine is wearing out. I have no intention of buying another UFS, so I need this one to last!!! Course I have been using it since it was released back whenever that was before the summer.

Giulio said that all pieces ofthe new UFS are compatible with the pieces of the new UFS. Thats true. But when I say that they are not compatible I mean that they dont have the exellent fit that I wanted. To be more clear, the new pieces screw on the old UFS but threads are not snug between the 2 versions. Its not a huge problem but its still a problem for me. I want people to not complain about anything when they receive replacement parts.

clear window will not fit on old UFS because it has longer threads. But steel window will fit. Threads will not be snug but it will still fit. But I prefere you not to buy replacements for old UFS because maybe you will have an issue if you are not careful with threads.

So what do you recommend doing? I really want a SS window for my old UFS :(
