It is a cheaper mistake. Also the carto is already primed, you can tell when it starts to wane better than an instant dry burning atty. Easeier to suck up extra juice into carto than a regular atty. I just find it IMO the easiest way to start out w/a UFS. The DC atty is the hardest to keep both coils wet while not flooding. Especially if one has never used a UFS before. Hope this helps.

Thank you good advice and I have 5 cartomizers to practice with as I only have 1of each the DCA and the Joye LR510 to play with... I am actually a lil skeered of the DCA because it is a pretty expensive Atty the Joye isn't exactly cheap either but less so than the DCA for sure....

Just to add to what Dspin said, the batting also adds a layer of protection against flooding compared to an atty. Although with 100% VG juice that will be less of an issue. Keeping it wet will be the bigger deal.

Also noted and as you know I am all about 100% VG and that being said should it be an issue I assume it would be an option to punch the carts like I did with my map tank....

There you have it MrKrinkle - some like the SS Ming, others like Imeo's. I got a SS Ming and got rid of it the same day. I loved the way it fit in my mouth and the vapor, but couldn't abide the looks of it on my GGTS or UFS. But thats just me and how my tastes run. If I could get past the looks of it, it is a great tip.

The shape of the Ming tip reminds me of the bottle used by "I dream of Jeannie". After all, it had sexy contents and there is vapor involved......

For you youngsters, Barbara Eden = Jeannie = Hot

I had my DC atty from COV in the UFS and removed it. Was too difficult for me to properly feed it. YMMV and I didn't want to ruin it.

Man that is a lot of Barbara! And like old guys are, I have a war story about her. Back in 1978 when the disaster films were in vogue, they decided to make a film called Condominium in my areas of service. Barbara Eden was the one of the stars and still very hot. Being a not so shy person, I went to the set the first day on location and got to be the one that shooed away a half drunk admirer.

I wound up taking leave so I could accept the "body guard" gig for her as offered by the director. I have to say no matter what others may think, this lady is a Class Act! She was never haughty, never rude and always a consumate lady. I have had the duty to guard 2 presidents and I must say, the time I got to spend as her body guard for the movie is my most fond remembrance of any work of that sort.

Like me, she is well past her prime but after that experience, I will always remember what a true lady she is. Oh and as a "cookie" of sorts, I got to appear (without credits of course) as a uniformed cop on a bridge near the Condo moving traffic along as the storm approached. My 15 seconds of "fame" I guess, lol.

Browning HP. Nice piece. John Moses's last design. Finished by his son I think in 1935, hence the m35 designation?
I'm a 1911 guy myself although I had a nickle plated FN one years ago

You sound like me man! It is good to hang onto things when space allows! I know I still have the box and user manual for my first Browning Hi-Power purchased in 1974 for $112.50 at a Western-Auto Store. My wife is most irritated at that one I think. But as I tell her, you never know when it may have to go in for warranty work!

Yes you can. In fact, it will be even easier to prime/refill the carto in the UFS. You just close the air control and take drags without firing the GG till the filler at top is moist. Of course if you had a map tank, you are aware of how your juice will flow through a carto.
