uhm possible stupid question

How do I post in a specific social group forum or join, sorry if it's a stupid question... can't figure it out

When you look at the social group forum at the top it there's a link that says something like "visit this group" click on the new page "join this group" is a button to the right. It took me a while to figure it out too.
