I'm sure most of us have heard or come across the UK ECIG STORE! And I'm sure most of us would have possibly made a purchase from the UK ECIG STORE!
This is my personal experience of doing business with them.

UK ECIG STORE is most definitely the Godfather E-Cig vendor in the United Kingdom. They stock all the top products, from beginners devices to advanced devices, e-liquids, accessories and much more! Basically any vaping hardware can be found here. Their website is well neatly presented and very easy to use.

Their customer service is the best I've experienced from E-Cig vendors! They have their own technical staff members that specialise in specific products that they stock. And they're always happy to help whether it's a big or minor issue!

There are only two negatives I can think of about the UK ECIG STORE.

1. A majority of their stock is unfortunately out of stock and stays out of stock for a long while. However they give you the option to be notified via Email when they have new stock.

2. The only payment method accepted is PayPal. Although you're protected by using PayPal. It would be good to also have other payment alternatives to make purchases with the UK ECIG STORE.

Please share your own thoughts and opinions. :)

I will refrain from commenting too much at this stage.

You are not new to vaping - do you have some connection with this store?

I recommend you seek information about this vendor on UKV or AAEC UK. See what the majority of UK users feel about this store and make up your own mind.

No connection with this store! My first purchase was January this year and it was a bad purchase not going to lie! I purchased a Vicious Ant Phenom Mechanical Mod along with a AW 18650 IMR 3.7V 2200mAh Battery. Within three days of purchasing these. The battery exploded inside the mod causing me to burn my hands, carpet and my room smelt of chemicals for a week!

After informing UK ECIG STORE about this, they were extremely concerned about any injuries and concerns of inhaling battery fumes! They were very apologetic and sent me a replacement straight away!

It was my own error as to why it happened because I used a nipple headed battery instead of a flat headed battery, and the connection pin damaged it causing to explode while making a connection. They could of quite easily said this was my own fault and they have no circumstance to offer me a replacement or refund.

Well; there we have it - they are not great. They were removed from AAEC UK and are almost unmentionable on UKV.

The FAKE VTC batteries was the last straw for many people.

They are expensive. Half of the products are not in stock. Customer service was non-existent in 2012 and 2013. I have bought something from them, that was a once-only deal. Never again.

Read the hundreds of posts about them on UK vaping forums.

I'm interested in why your battery exploded.

What kind of device/build were you using when the battery exploded?

Now I'm not so familiar with the phenom mod but it looks to me like you should be fine using either nipple or flat top batteries.

As for Uk ecig store, I have never used them because soon after I started vaping I came online to forums and they get all kinds of bad rep across the boards so why bother?

UKecigstore;
Their goods are overpriced and their customer service is pathetic - they don't like honouring warranties.
One of the only vendors that I know of that is banned from a vaping forum.

Other than that they're great:facepalm:

They were avoiding litigation, and that's about it.
Please don't make excuses for these "vendors".

They're only in it for the money and once they have yours - they don't give a sheet.

Indeed, we banned them on AAE-C UK last year, due to the many complaints about their pathetic customer service.

What amazes me is people come on (various) vaping forums saying "Never had a problem, I'll be using them again". In my world, if that's the way people decide to not support other people, then we might as well all not bother with forums or any kind of cyber-interaction.

"Dog eat dog, I'm alright Jack. "

Even the dubious self-promoting reviewers don't care where their freebies come from, as long as they can post their latest puerile video on youtube and spam the forums with their 'expert opinion review' when most of them don't contribute even one post in the general, discussion, ever. Thankfully they are too shy/inept/socially challenged to visit vape meets... good. They're no friends to vapers.

Sorry to say it, but that's where we are.

Ukecigstore. Well i used them a couple of years ago. They didn't send me anything. After i complained they sent me a parcel with the wrong stuff. I never went back after that. It's as if they've got their kids processing the orders or something.

Anyway, if i want something i'll research it and i'll find plenty of vendors which have what i want then i go from there. I do avoid Ukecigstore though. I think , as i recall, i mentioned their poor service in ECF at the time. And most of the time all i read about them is poor reviews. There are just so many vendors now. More and more with each month that passes.

I never buy pre-made e liquid so you could say any vendor selling that is taking the micky really. It's just so ridiculously expensive when compared to D.I.Y. So i find new sites for that too. Found a place recently called "Darkstar", pretty new i think,

here > DarkStar Vapour - 250ml 7.2% (72mg) Nicotine (VG Base).

Their nicotine VG base or PG is £18 for 250ml. I don't know any other vendor who sells it that cheap so i contacted them. Apparently, according to them, most vendors source their nicotine from the EU, and so did they, but then they found a place in the states who sell it cheaper so they get theirs from there now, which is the reason why they can afford to sell it for the price they do. I used to get mine from "The Alchemists Cupboard" for about £28 for 250ml.

I tend not to shop at any one specific vendor a lot of the time. I'd recommend "Vape Escape" though. I could find some of the products they sell elsewhere for less but their processing is first rate. I got my Subtank from them for about £26 even though i could have got one for £24 elsewhere. If i had of searched more maybe i could have found one even cheaper. I ordered on the wednesday afternoon and got it thursday morning. They are a reliable vendor but their prices aren't the best.

If people can come on and talk about their bad service. Others have the same right to let people know they haven't had any issues.
