Lol! There's no civil war going on or anything. The Scottish building society Dumfernline has followed a bunch of other banks into the sh*t. Other than that there are protests ahead of the G20 meeting in London. So far I haven't heard of any violence and I hope it remains peaceful since I support several of the causes (debt relief, the environment etc--a lot of different groups and charities have gathered together)
[EDIT: ah I see, they've stormed a branch of RBS. (Google is slow) Not so good, I was hoping that there wouldn't be any clashes. The city isn't a 'neighbourhood' as such though]
