Hello @ian-field, don't know if the Smoant Pastio could be of some interest (rebuildable pod mod with an RBA). It's not released yet, but is close as it's already being listed for pre sale.

Here's a link to the thread for you to have a look at.

I'm UK based myself and wished to ask you why UK suppliers? Is it because of the urgency to replace your kit?

You can get some great deals from Chinese etailers with even free shipping included, but the downside is you do have to wait a fair amount of time though.

My own brew battery units are all fitted with ego thread adaptors - minimalist electronics, so basic 3.7V hit. I just need rebuildable single coil units so I don't have to buy manufactured coil heads every few days. The disposable clearos are cheaper than the coil heads for the only thing Liberty Flights could offer me.

Thanks - saved in favourites while I'm busy doing something, i'll follow that up in due course. The whole lot is worn & knackered - I nearly flamed a new battery build a couple of days ago because a dodgy connector shorted - salvaging parts from a previous battery unit was a seriously bad idea. A lot of problems disappeared when I used new buttons & connectors. found a still packaged Evod 1 I forgot I had which took some pressure off. The real panic ATM; is I'm nearly out of wire - might know where to get more though.

The Crazy Wire company in the UK isn't too bad, plenty of choice and they even sell through Amazon as well as their own website.

And if you use the selection box as suggested on that fasttech page, you'll be able to find plenty more evod coil style tanks as well. But their going to be disappearing in the near future.

Smoant Pastio pod mod may be of some interest for the future then, it has an RBA which is a rebuildable coil head. It's the first one of its type to come on the market and is looking interesting, and it's from a decent manufacturer as well.

Pretty sure they're all re designing to stop people like me rebuilding instead of buying new ones.
