I think it depends on what you want to do with it. I ordered it unsweetened, but for vaping by itself, I much prefer it sweetened. Sweetening really brings out the vanilla a lot more.

Unsweetened, however, is much better for mixing -- I have found that juices I don't like (from other vendors, of course!) become vapable-to-good by adding unsweetened Ultimate Vanilla to them. Usually, one part UV to three parts icky juice.

That's a great idea! I'm going to buy some to fix a few yucky juices. :) Thanks for the tip!

I'll post again about sweetener. We do things differently around here. Other vendors would simply add the sweetener in and just list it as an ingredient. You'd get your liquid, you'd vape it, it would be sweet.

Since the sweetener we use is an artificial sweetener and there are some who would prefer not to have that in there, the sweetener has been left as a separate monster that you have the option to add in.

Rule of thumb would be, if the flavor you are ordering is one that you would expect to be sweet, then opt to have the liquid sweetened. The exception to this is Black Licorice, Atomic Cinnacide and Geoff's Blend since the flavorings used provide a natural sweetness that will just be part of the recipe.

Secondly, things sometimes roll down to HOW sweet you like your liquids. When we sweeten a liquid, we sweeten it enough so that the liquid will be sweet, but not OVERLY sweet. We will sweeten a liquid, but not to the point that we feel might compromise the usability of the liquid. If you like your liquids extremely sweet, then it would be more prudent to pick up a bottle of sweetener and spiff it up to your liking.

Hope that helps.
