120ml is basically 4oz so why would you need to transfer them?

It appears the 120ml it comes in is plastic bottles and everything I've read suggests keeping it in glass bottles for long-term storage. At 100mg strength, 6 bottles will last me a couple years mixed at 6% strength. At the cost of the glass bottles, better safe then sorry. :D

@OlderNDirt - If that order didn't include any glass bottles, you may want to consider getting them from GlassBottleOutlet (located in FL). They have the cheapest prices on Amber Glass Boston Round Bottles and the phenolic polycone caps! I ordered many in 2oz., 4oz., and 8oz., 2 different times, after I compared their prices & S/H to the other top 3 places recommended on here.

Here's the info. on the 4oz. size & the matching caps. You can just C&P the item # into the search box on their website. I'd have attached a link to each thing, but their website is down right now, as I'm posting this. If memory serves me right...they do maintenance on their site on Saturday mornings.

Item #4ZAMBRNC
4oz. Amber Glass Boston Round Bottles with No Closure (22/400) are $.35 each

Item #22/400PCB1S
Black Polycone Lined Cap (22/400) are $.13 each

Their shipping is also much more reasonable than the other 3 places I compared them to.

Thanks @JCinFLA ! Will be checking that out!

After checking my very limited stock, I found that I had 1 8oz and 2 4oz bottles, so included another 8oz in my order. By my calcs, that should handle the 6 120ml bottles of nic I ordered by putting 2 bottles of nic in each 8oz bottle for long term storage. But with this information as well as some additional thought, I may delay for a week or two in bottling it all up. At least I presume having it in its original bottle for a couple weeks isn't going to hurt it.

So this has all led me to this thinking (Lord, help us all when this happens :nun:).....

So far, I have my storage nic in 240ml and 120ml bottles for "long term." That is all good...... until time comes to break into it. So even talking about a 120ml bottle, that would last me quite a while and as used, the storage would be with some air in the bottle. So is it reasonable and/or advisable when the time comes to break down the 120ml bottle to "fill" say 4 30ml bottles, storing 3 and working out of 1? And for the 240ml bottle adding 1 120ml bottle to the breakdown? Or is this thinking just getting me in trouble?

Bottom line, should I buy a bunch more bottles?

I just pour some from my cold 120ml bottle into my working cabinet bottle and replace the balance of the 120ml back in the freezer. I will use up the balance of that 120ml bottle in less than a year and have had no issues with my nic degrading.

Yep! Your calcs look great to me for what you just ordered above to go from their plastic bottles to your glass ones...for longterm storage in the freezer!

So is it reasonable and/or advisable when the time comes to break down the 120ml bottle to "fill" say 4 30ml bottles, storing 3 and working out of 1?

IMO, that's what I would do as well. Put 3 of the 30mL bottles back in the freezer, and work from the 4th one you leave out. That way, you're not reopening the same 120mL bottle each time you need another 30mL for a "working" bottle.

And for the 240ml bottle adding 1 120ml bottle to the breakdown? Or is this thinking just getting me in trouble?

OK, if I'm thinking right here...you won't be breaking down any 240mL bottle of nic from your freezer...until you've used up the 4 30mL bottles you made when you broke down a 120mL bottle. Right?

If that IS the case...when you're ready to break down an (8oz.) 240mL bottle...I'd just do this:

Put 1/2 of it in the 120mL bottle (that you'd emptied when you broke it down into the 4 30mL ones).

AND put the other 1/2 in the 4 30mL empty bottles you'll have by that time. (Because you'll have used those up by that time, and they'd be reusable then.)

Seems to me you can just keep reusing the same (1) 120mL bottle and (4) 30mL bottles each time you break down a 240mL bottle from the freezer!

Does that make sense to you?

@JCinFLA

Not only makes sense, but that is exactly what I was thinking I would do, if reasonable. In effect, rotation using the same bottles, a 120ml and four 30ml. And I am also making only minimal use of my nic stash until store juice diminishes or price goes through the roof from taxation. Mostly mix up some unflavored and play around with flavors. But with a little luck, I'll come up with a flavor or two that can/will replace a couple of store juices I don't want to give up.

I just ordered 4 of them for that price as well. Now I have to decide where it should go in rotation. I have 3L of regular Heartland for my stash. I'm working off a 250 ml bottle of MFS nic I have for my day to day, although I'm still using lots of premixed juice I like from VVV. I could simply combine these into some 250 ml glass bottles I have for more in the stash, or simply add these to the MFS to work my way through before ever reaching into prepper stuff.

I could also test out my vodka analogy and give this stuff a test as an unflavored, maybe compare it off against some of my unflavored MFS, and even Heartland plain nic, and see if "premium" really does matter for nic.

I'm not into DIY enough yet to have a rotation, but mixing up some unflavored with this nic is first on the list for it.
