Hi Joe,

I own a Riva and clean it with an ultrasonic cleaner.

I use the ultrasonic to clean the atty, the cone, and the disassembled cartridges. I don't bother to wash the cartridge filler. It's cheap so I use fresh filler every time.

I fill the ultrasonic cleaner with cheap vodka and run all parts (excepting the battery) through three cycles of three minutes (or a total of nine minutes of clean time.) I let everything air dry, reassemble, and vape the thing just like it was brand new.

I haven't heard any bad reviews of using an ultrasonic cleaner on vaping gear, so hopefully you'll have good luck and super clean parts.

I use water straight out of the tea kettle to clean my Ego-T attys and tanks. Works great. Just fill, run, blow out, run, blow out, run, blow out and let dry.

I think it might for a little while i use vodka or everclear got my cleaner on ebay 24.00 shipped.Seems to work.

I've never tried an ultrasonic cleaner, I use a pressure cooker. One thing I can say for any cleaning method is that putting them in a dehydrator afterward will get them bone dry in just a couple hours...

I just got the $25 cleaner from harbor freight last night and gave it a try. I used hot tap water and ran it for multiple 3 min cycles. I cleaned 3 808 cartos as a test and it seemed to work good. As far a drying I created a small centrifuge for my drill and then put them in the toaster oven for 40 min at 150 and was able to vape one of them right away and it appears to have worked very good. I will try using vodka next time I try as I used that previously to clean out my CE2's with good success.

Wow, I never thought of using ultrasonic! I must read up in the other forum posts...

I'm torn on my cleaning method at the moment. After watching Mistress Nomad's vids, I was cleaning the attys and carts with rubbing alcohol every night. But then Doctor Vapor said on a video that cleaning too much is bad for the atty. So another guy in a vid said he just blows out the atty into a tissue so I've been doing that for a couple days and then using the alcohol...

But this idea, ultrasonic sounds like it may be gentler...I have a Harbor Freight right down the street...think I will pay them a visit...
