I've grown weary of trying to clean atomizers and clearomizers with water and vodka. So I've been looking at ultrasonic cleaners. Has anyone else tried this? How well has it worked? Also, can anyone recommend an ultrasonic cleaner?
I tried on some T2 heads and noticed the surface of the water covered with tiny bits of silica. May just be general wear and tear that goes unnoticed when washing under flowing water, or may be ultrasonics busting up the wicks... I fear it might knock off plating or stenciled on tank markings. But I only tried a couple of times before just moving to hot water wash + dry-burn which seems to work fine for me. I haven't really gotten into the stays-in-atty-forever juices though.
