Yes. And on the other hand (I'm sitting here munching happily on left over Easter jelly beans) there really is an art to properly mixing familiar food flavorings, and that mixing seems to work out best when trying to mimic food products that are frankly 'artificially flavored'. Kick Bass, for instance, makes a Tootsie Rolly that's just all Tootsie Roll (the open secret seems to be a bit of orange, which you can see right away once you know). The genius of Fuzion, which I haven't tried, is in not pretending - "Tastes just like a Gummy Bear, KoolAde, junk-food-berry-bomb cereal, a Twinkie!", etc., and they're apparently doing a really good job with the sugar-rush nostalgia crowd.
Just, a jolly rancher does not taste like a strawberry. It's not really supposed to.
