I've found that I haven't been able to sleep since quitting. I always drink coffee in the evenings and it occurred to me last night that caffeine might have a stronger effect now... I googled it and apparently the effect of caffeine doubles in people that quit smoking. :glare:

Not sure if that only relates to quitting cold turkey, (no nic) or just quitting. I'm going to try going without coffee a few evenings to see if it makes a difference.

Anyone else have this problem?

I vape 15mg when I wake up. 2 cups of coffee thru the morning while vaping 12 mg.

Iced tea with caffeine in the evening vaping 12mg.

I typically switch to water around 9 or 10pm. Vaping 12 or now 10mg up until I go to bed around midnight and sleep like a baby.

I actually sleep better than I did when I was smoking. Mainly because I don't wake up in coughing fits.

I've definitely had a sensitivity to caffeine after switching to vaping. Used to drink coffee all day long, but now can only drink one cup in the morning. I researched it and it is a side effect of quitting smoking. Apparently not a side effect of quitting nicotine though since I'm still getting plenty of nic.

I started at 18mg nic, but went down to 12mg after the first few weeks. I also found that even though my only caffeine is in the morning, I still have a hard time sleeping due to chain vaping in the evening. Need to get some 6mg for the evenings. Hoping that helps.
