Unflavored nic has a flavor???????

Just curious.
I mixed up a batch of unflavored 50/50 pgvg & 12mgnic

It's the first time I've vaped unflavored and I mixed it in a 10 ml plastic bottle that used to have a very strong smelling strawberry banana in it. I cleaned the bottle very well but it still had a scent of strawberries that I couldn't get out.

Is it possible that the flavor I'm tasting was absorbed from the bottle or does the unflavored nic have a little bit of a sweet taste?

Your taste buds aren't lying to you. The VG has a very slight sweet flavor.

Ok so I'm not crazy. I started to vape unflavored because I think I fried my taste buds so I was already a mess trying to taste flavors.

I think the unflavored juice can help prevent that problem. It's also a nice palate cleanser between flavors, and really makes the flavored juices pop when you switch back to them.

The term unflavored is somewhat of a misnomer, it really does have a flavor to it, kind of sweet if you're using VG but with a mild nutty flavor which comes from the nic. We call it unflavored simply because we're not adding additional flavoring to the mix.

Unflavored reminded me of what a Ice sicle taste like (not pop sicle) Taste is subjective though

Take some 0 mg vg and put it on your lips. Then lick your lips. To me very sweet. I also get a tingly sensation from it.

Thats really interesting to me. I gotta say I am really enjoying it. It's not something I would vape all day but definitely when I am overwhelmed with flavors.
