I heard several people here talk about vaping unflavored nicotine. It did not sound interesting but gave it a try last week. I mix it at 60pg 40vg with 12.5% nicotine. I've been vaping it on a 2.0ohm cartomizer. The cart is still going strong with no signs of weakening. The mix takes no steep time, only a good shake. The vape has a natural sweetness with flavor and good TH. It's something every DIYer should try. I easily use this mix 50% of the time now. If you've tried this and like it then let us know. If you plan to try it then let us know that too. Another positive is when you switch to your flavored liquid, it really shines.

I can't say enough good things about vaping unflavored. Goes well with everything you could possiblly eat or drink, as well. Everyone should at least give it try. Plus, think about all of those artificial flavors you are not exposing your lungs to.
meh im a heavy flavor person....dont know if its the rts pg based nic from rts vapes or the vg from wizard labs but i dont taste much its kindof strange not bad but strange to me...it let me try out my new cartomizer without worrying about getting a flavor stuck in there tho

I have every intention of trying this when my first DIY stuff comes in next month. It seems only logical to try your base by itself before adding any flavor to it so you know just how much flavor you need to add to get what you like. I am hoping to use as little flavor as possible, most of the time. Not trying a flavorless liquid would be like refusing water because it's too boring. I get sick of any flavor of anything I taste if it's all day, everyday.
I do it once in a while, its certainly not bad. Also if you are "lazy" and want to switch for instance flavor in a vivi tank, fill it up with unflavored and vape a tank or 2, you get rid of the other flavor (besides menthol) very easy
I enjoy unflavored 80PG/20VG 12mg now and again. It's also good when you are sick and can't taste anyways.
It's easy, tastes great, won't clog a carto, you can freeze and store it for a long long time .. what's not to like .. ??
OK, y'all twisted my arm. I'll try it today or tomorrow. I generally use a 20mg light, sweet tobacco all-day. The flavor is satisfying, but unflavored may be just as satisfying. I'll try it.
I do it from time to time . .especially when I have a high need for stealth. It's not bad but I get bored with it after a few ml. I mix high vg, though . .and my nic base is very low flavor, low throat hit. It just kind of feels unsatisfying without a bit of flavor.
I found early on that I seem to like lite flavor, so I started vaping unflavored. now it and a mild menthol are my daily vapes. I still use flavors too, but I mostly drip with them when I am playing on the computer.
I have been intending on trying this for a while now, and I think this thread serves as a sign that its time...

So far I like my unflavored base better than all but one of the DIY recipes I've made. It's not bad, but I'm afraid I'll up the nic to get a bit more bite on the inhale.
