I went loooong for this...

...but I found this too. Sorry. 'Couldn't pass it up. :D

And you've accomplished the impossible... I've awarded a like.

The equation converges on pi. Each time the summation is calculated with increasing values of n, the result adds more decimal places. The trailing decimal places are changeable, but as more decimal places result, the preceding decimal places lock in to a constant value, thus the more iterations of n calculated, the more decimal places result and the closer to the actual irrational value of pi the result becomes.

There are other ways to achieve the convergence on pi as well. All rely on summations of infinite series. Many are trigonometric, but I don't like these since trigonometry gives me a headache.

The moral of all this: I tend to become fixated on mental challenges. Sometimes it results in insufferable math lessons, but other times it results in WTA. So, gimme a break. :p

I thought you were kidding. Then I checked your profile.
I'm honored to have received the only "like" you've ever doled out.

I guess that means he hasn't liked anything I've posted in nearly five years. I'm gonna have to brush up on my math skills or something.

I sent him a message and I don't think, unfortunately, he is(n't) [ed] too up-to-speed on WTA. As sad as it is for others, there are still so many that either don't have access or don't even know about it. I can imagine that, based on his last study, he isn't even aware that there is a small segment of vapers out there that knows it's not ONLY about nicotine that closes the gap!

Maybe we should educate him. I would also imagine if one of us were to send him a sample to include in his testing (Jerry? Or maybe an "indie") with a bit of explanation as to what it is and its significance -- and where to find more info and who to talk to if he's interested -- he would quite possibly include it in his tests; he does seem to be looking to test as many different brands and flavors as he can, after all. A little name-dropping probably wouldn't hurt either; how familiar is he with ECF?

Maybe it will just take a little bit of perseverance.

I can't remember how I stumbled onto reading about WTA, I think I was reading another thread about something completely unrelated and saw it mentioned and then sought out info on it. From what I have read so far, someone named Dvap developed it and that he is considered to be a God send to the vaping world, lol? I just quit smoking several months ago and I am fairly new the vaping scene. One thing I have noticed is that my daily e-liquid requirements have been slowly increasing by the ml with each passing week. I have definitely developed the need to take a vape or two every five to ten minutes all day long, as compared to when I smoked I only needed one cigarette every one to two hours. One thing that concerns me is that I vape up to five ml a day sometimes and the unflavored WTA DIY @ $30 for 15ml would only last me around three days. Meaning it would cost me around a $100 a week to vape the WTA DIY? I have read that some people add .5 to 1ml of the WTA DIY to their regular flavored eliquids, does this still provide that calming sensation I have missed since I have started vaping? I am absolutely new to WTA but from what I have read so far, it seemed like it was worth giving it a shot, I ordered some of the WTA DIY from Aroma yesterday. Could any of you give me some advice on how to use it? Thank You!

LOL, DVap's been elevated to god status!

    Hi C4 (-:
I use the DIY at 8% when mixed into other liquids. Works well for me at that rate.

My preferred use of the DIY though is to drip it straight.
I'll vape whatever during a day and when I get home I'll break out my Igo-L and hit it for 10 minutes or so. Very good way to spell relaxation. Figuring those drip sessions use up mebbe 0.5ml at the very most a bottle goes a long ways.

And the really good thing is that in the past 6 months or so the instances where I've "needed" a straight dripping session have dropped to mebbe once or twice a week rather than twice a day. The WTA has done it's job in getting me past the bad cravings for tobacco.

    Hi C4,

It's great you are doing your research. I hear your concern about the amount of liquid you are using now ( and the subsequent cost if you switch over). Luckily I've found that my consumption has decreased. I found Aroma about 6 months into vaping and have used WTA infused or WTA DIY mixed in other juices. ( I think about 10%?}. What I notice is that I'm more satisfied and not obsessed w my next Vape. ( I put the mod down even!

Try it out in different combinations and see what works for you. Keep us posted.
