If you have good medical coverage I wouldn't worry.

Ha just kiddin you should use protected. I am currently still using my copper cr2's without but man let me tell you:

I poured myself a carbonated soda the other day and I had squeezed the bottle while pouring and put the cap back on but as the pressure built up in minute or so it popped real loud right when I took a hit off my copper...

I thought vaping had done me in...I jumped, choked on my vapor and starting checking around for shrapnel wounds!

ha....I'm still hittin the copper.... nothing like nicotine and adrenaline in the morning.....

(hey thats my new signature)

unprotected cells in series? What if:
2 volts on the "weak battery" 3.7 volts on the "strong battery" plenty of volts to vape with. Just might be ONE VAPE AWAY FROM BLAM.

Make sure the battery that is going to BLOW is in the end AWAY from your FACE.

A single battery MOD using unprotected batteries can be monitored for weak vapor, stops vaping, stop sucking.

A stacked battery mod might use one battery to forcibly blow the other up.
Would have vaped just fine the vape just prior to the accident.
